Recently I stumbled on a surpirse when I was playing around with PIM for groups. The problem I faced, was that I had a securtiy group in Entra ID…
…I used Privileged Identity Management for Groups to discover the group and click on “Manage groups”. This basically enables the group to be managed by PIM and you can apply your settings as you need.
Next I checked and saw the PIM enabled group is ready…
…then I deleted the actual security group in Entra ID…
…the surprise was, that the PIM configuration still exists in the PIM overview. I would have expected to have it removed as well…
…but it seems it stays there and I did not figure out yet a way to remove this object.
